Longwood Art Gallery at Hostos Community College
The beauty of an ‘incomplete’ construction is reflected in the subtle tears on the drywall, recreation of shadow through graphite lines, hypothetical frames with tape, and indicative markers with ink. I explore these planes to re-imagine ways of reconstructing the window and corners of the gallery space. In observing the shadows, lines and angles; the installation reimagines an ‘unfinished’ environment and references architectural planes in space.
